Ayodhya Ram Mandir Inauguration: Aside from placing the statue of Ramlala in the recently built temple, plans are on to alter how he is praised and worshipped. Acharya Satyendradas, the main archer of Ramlala, claims that although Sita was worshipped alongside Shri Ram up to this point in the Ramanandiya tradition, Mother Sita will not receive joint worship with Ramlala due to her greater importance. This choice is per the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust’s directives.
The Trust decided that, alongside Ramlala, child versions of Bharat, Laxman, and Shatrughan, along with Hanuman ji, Saryu Maiya, and Ayodhyanath, shall be invoked in the main sanctum following consultation with the saints who are masters in devotion. This will guarantee such attentiveness in praise as well. It has been pointed out that worshiping Sita is incorrect here.

As the idol of Shri Ram will be put in the original sanctum sanctorum in the avatar of a 5-year-old child, Sita’s presence and worship would be inappropriate in that scenario. The sanctum sanctorum on the first floor most likely makes up for the lack of Mother Sita worship in the original sanctum sanctorum on the bottom floor. This sanctum sanctorum will house the complete Ram Darbar, including Shri Ram and Sita. Along with statues of Bharat, Lakshman, and Shatrughan, it would also feature Hanuman ji.
