1. Eagle
The upcoming action thriller film Eagle, written and directed by Karthik Gattamaneni, an Indian cinematographer, is a follow-up to his 2015 film Suriya vs. Suriya. Under People Media Factory, TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla produce it. In the lead characters are Ravi Teja, Anupama Parameswaran, Navdeep, Kavya Thapar, Srinivas Avasarala, and Madhu.
On June 12, 2023, a teaser for the movie was released. While Gattamaneni handled the film’s editing and photography, Davezand wrote the soundtrack and music. On February 9, 2024, The Eagle is slated for release in theaters across the globe.
2. Indian 2
S. Shankar is the director and screenplay writer of the upcoming Indian Tamil-language vigilante action movie Indian 2. It is the follow-up to the 1996 movie Hindustani, which was produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. Kamal Haasan plays Senapati (Indian), an elderly independence fighter who battles corruption.
Like many of the actor’s projects, Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s long-delayed film nearly never happened. The two actors reunited after a 25-year break. Following the deaths of three stuntmen on the sets, Kamal was able to resurrect the film because of Vikram’s success. The film tells the tale of Senapathy, a vigilante who murdered his kid in the first act.
3. Devara- Part 1
Following the Oscar-winning movie RRR, Devara NTR Jr.’s first project. At first glance, the actor appears like a strong avatar in the film. The movie, which was directed by Kortala Siva, will be released in two segments. The filmmaker recently declared that the characters wouldn’t be sufficiently portrayed in one scene. Bollywood is also heavily included in the film. Saif Ali Khan plays the antagonist in the movie, which is Janhvi Kapoor’s Telugu debut. On April 5, the film’s first segment will be available. Anirudh Ravichander composed the film’s soundtrack, R. Rathnavel took care of the photography, and A. Sreekar Prasad handled the editing.
4. Thangalaan
Ranjith and Vikram are in K. E. Gnanavel Raja’s Thangalaan. The movie is set in the pre-independence era at Kolar Gold Mines. Thangalaan, another film in Pa Ranjith’s stable concerning the politics of land and ownership, will be similar to Madras and Kaala. The movie will be available on January 26.
Given that it is Vikram’s 61st feature film as the lead actor, the film was first formally confirmed in December 2021 under the working title Chiyaan 61. The official title was unveiled in October 2022. In July 2023, principal photography came to an end, having started that same month. 5. Pushpa 2
Allu Arjun comes back to his role as the lead in Pushpa The Rise, the 2022 pan-India blockbuster. In the teaser for the movie, the figure is seen searching the country before returning in style to reclaim his people. The first portion of the Sukumar-directed movie received multiple National honors, making the sequel one of the most anticipated in Telugu cinema history. The film is scheduled for release in August 2024 and also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in important roles.
6. Kalki 2898AD
As the title indicates, this much-awaited pan-Indian movie takes place in the future. Based on the film’s first trailer, Prabhas plays a kind of messiah. The highly anticipated film, directed by Nag Ashwin, stars several well-known actors, including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone. 10. Hari Hara Veera Mallu
Krish Jagarlamudi is the writer and director of the upcoming action-adventure movie Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which is set in the Telugu era. The film features Pawan Kalyan, Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nora Fatehi, and Vikramjit Virk in prominent parts, and is based on the life of renowned dacoit Veera Mallu.
